Get Ready to Celebrate Canada Day

Oh, Canada!

This year the Prince Albert Multicultural Council is once again excited to be the organizer of 2012 Canada Day Celebrations for Prince Albert and area on the riverbank in Dave Steuart Park. The PAMC has organized Canada Day festivities for several years, and we are working hard this year to make this celebration the biggest and best ever.

We are also working hard to make this event accessible to all families, individuals and community members of the city and surrounding area. Music, entertainment, children’s activities, opening and closing ceremonies, and fireworks will be part of the celebrations, at no cost to the public.

In a province as diverse as Saskatchewan, we wish to celebrate diversity and multiculturism, which are so quintessential to Canada and being Canadian.

At the Prince Albert Multicultural Council, we feel strongly that it is an important part of our mission to bring together and make links between various ethnic, religious and cultural communities in the city with events such as this.

We would like to invite you, citizens of Prince Albert, in joining us on the riverbank this year. Festivities begin at 5:00PM.

Please feel free to pass this message among your contacts in Prince Albert and area. The more the merrier! Let’s celebrate Canada together!
