Plans for 2012 Jubilation Residential Centres

The 2012 Community Christmas Dinner, in collaboration with First Nations Forum, Sint Vincent de Paul Society, the West Flat Community Centre, and Kateri House, was a resounding success. Thanks to all those who volunteered and donated to this year's event, held at St. Mary's High School.

Because of some recent major injections of grant monies, Jubilation will continue its partnership with North Saskatchewan River Metis Nation Local # 269 to operate the Homes for the Homeless Project. We will continue our services to the homeless in Prince Albert at least until September of 2012. We received grant monies from the following sources : an anonymous donation of $ 25,000, a donation of $ 21,500 from the Catherine Donnelly Foundation, a donation of $ 1,000 from the Georgina Foundation, and a combined grant from the SaskTel's TelCare Program and SaskTel Corporation for $ 2,550. For more information about or referrals to our Homes for the Homeless Program, please call Janice Henry at 764-1172.

Jubilation is currently planning the activities of its regular events including Celebrate Life Week in Prince Albert (May 2012), our Outreach Booth at the Prince Albert Exhibition (August 2012), the Annual North American Life Chain (October 2012). Also, Pro-Life Banquet is planned for the Fall in collaboration with the Prince Albert Right To Life Association.

Jubilation is continuing to offer its regular services to pregnant women, single moms, young parents and children at its new location at 216 - 20 - 14th Street West. Appointments are necessary, please call 922-0100 or e-mail us at jubilation@inet2000.com
